His most successful achievement is creating ClickFunnels.com with his partner Todd Dickerson. Since 2014, ClickFunnels has reached $100,000,000 in sales and has 55,000 active users. At 38 years old, Russell Brunson has changed the digital marketing landscape. His books, podcasts, and webinars reach thousands of customers. He has made notable donations to World Teacher Aide and Operation Underground Railroad.
Background
Russell Brunson was born in Provo, Utah, and grew up in Sandy, Utah. As a child, Brunson loved sales and marketing. He studied television and radio commercials, and poured over junk mail. Brunson was fascinated with “the art and science of direct response,” and he opted in to many business opportunities. Brunson was an esteemed wrestler and received All American honors at the Utah 5A State Championship and 2nd place at High School Nationals during his senior year. He continued his wrestling career in college at Brigham Young University, and finished at Boise State University. During his time at BSU, he met his wife Collette. The two have been together since, and they share five children.
Net Worth
Russell Brunson’s net worth is $37 million dollars. His most successful venture, ClickFunnels, is a SaaS (software as a service) and a $360 million dollar company. Brunson has amassed a following of a million entrepreneurs, and has sold over 250,000 copies of his marketing books. At 38 years old, Brunson has received praise from Tony Robbins, Grant Cardone, and he landed an appearance on Marcus Lemonis’ The Profit.
Career: Earliest Business Projects
In college, Brunson created his first how-to booklet that would “teach people how to make $40 every time their pager rang.” He received 30 orders the first day, and that’s when he knew he was on to something.
Also in college, Brunson sold a guide on building potato guns, complete with “schematics and DVD.” This boosted his confidence, and he soon enveloped himself in the world of Internet Marketing. “Within a year of graduating college, he’d made his first million dollars selling his products.”
After successfully selling products and services, Brunson created DotComSecrets in 2002, where he traveled around the country sharing his marketing knowledge through seminars and workshops.
ClickFunnels: Self-Funded Venture
Russell Brunson’s most successful business is one he created with fellow entrepreneur Todd Dickerson. ClickFunnels simplifies the design process so entrepreneurs can create clickable funnels that lead to massive sales. The ClickFunnels are broken down in 3 steps: Tripwire, which offers a “low ticket item like a free book,” Webinar, which helps to sell a product, and High-Ticket, which gives users the chance to sell “a high-priced offer between $300-$100,000.” Clickfunnels creates marketing, sales, and product delivery.
2 Comma Club
Brunson founded the 2 Comma Club to bring successful members of ClickFunnels together. Members include those who made over $1,000,000 through ClickFunnels. Brunson’s main goal is to teach others to reach high levels of success.
